So I've finally got around to checking out Octane. Standalone and the plugin for Lightware are solid, but when it came to trying it out for DAZ Studio I hit a snag with the the material node editor. ...well, there seem to be a number of bugs with this plugin at the moment, but I simply can't place additional nodes in the editor. I can select and drag, but I get nothing on drop.
I'm using the current public release of DAZ Studio and the currently offered demo version of Octane for DAZ Studio. Anyone else getting this problem?
Another problem I've got is with the node graph window getting in all sorts of weird places, such as docked tabs (which can't become undocked) and expanding beyond the size of my monitors. The only way to fix these issues seems to be by resetting the layout.
