Hi wafflelad,
as Ahmet, I have successfully rendered all the sequences in you file with no issue on my Mac 5.1, but I have a dedicated card for display... what is your priority settings?
Mac Os X and CUDA version?
ciao beppe

Ok, so I put in an old GT120 and used that to run my monitors (I don't know why I didn't do it before), and I set the priority to high on the 780ti. I tried a new scene and the previous one. The first frame is definitely still running quite a bit faster, and the render times seem to be a bit erratic before settling into a stable speed. Although, everything is running faster overall, now. I also ran a very simple scene and the render times are very stable.
