Hi,
does anyone know/have Octane Studio Kit (http://www.thinkparticle.com/product/th ... ender-kit/)
and if so, how does it compare to the free Octane Studio Tools (http://www.josefbsharah.net/octane-studio-tools/)?
Are the materials in Octane Studio Kit v1.3 the same one can find in the LiveDB?
Basically, josef's tools seem on par with Think Particles's. Would anyone disagree?
I have contacted the developer and he doesn't answer any of my mails.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Peter,
thank you for your opinion.
I do think that Josef is an even "greater" guy since he offers his Studio Tools for free, but that is not my point.
What I am trying to ascertain is if Sam's Studio kit is that much better than Studio tools
that it is justified paying 25 bucks for it.
E.g. Are the materials in it from the LiveDB or made by Sam himself?
If Studio Tools is as good and just lacking the liveDB materials than I might as well go with it
and donate 10 bucks to Josef.
