Open EXR Format and Octane with AE?
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Is there a known issue with the Open EXR format and Octane alpha masks? I am getting white contamination on the RGB layers of my images when I import them into AE, even when I choose "Straight Alpha" in the AE import settings for the footage. I am able to use the simple choker in AE to get rid of them, but there should not be any color contamination at all when rendering with straight alpha. Octane 3 has some new toggles, and it is possible I do not yet have the correct combination, but this used to be pretty simple...

Is it fast? Oh, yeah!

Also check "Keep environment". It was removed due this issue some times ago but people wished that get back.
