infinite plane?
Hi,
Unfortunately, this is not an available feature in Octane. Since it cannot be done in the Octane Standalone, none of the Octane plugins will support this feature. Apologies for not having a more favorable result.
Some alternative suggestions:
1. Try making a plane that has a gradual slope up behind the camera. A lot of the time, this will look like an infinite plane.
2. Make a plane to rest your object on and use a diffuse material and set it to "matte" in the material settings. This will make it a shadow catcher, make sure the plane is large enough to catch the entire shadow.. Then simply photoshop in a solid color below it.
