Well after testing this out for almost 2 hours. I am stumped. I have removed the amd card and uninstalled its drivers. I have reset poser preferences. I have uninstalled poser and reinstalled. I have uninstalled all streaming software. (ie. iDisplay) I have done the same for all version of octane. As of right now, octane 2.25 and octane 3beta standalone will run. Octane for Poser 2.25 will run. But Version 3beta just crashes as before. All of this is with the 365.19 drivers.

I have now been able to reproduce this Nvidia driver crash. It's only happening with the Poser plugin, so there must be something specific about Poser which triggers this. I am working with Otoy to get to the source of the problem, however staying with 358.58 is the best option for the moment.

Further testing has shown the Nvidia driver crash is only happening (for me) with Poser 10. Poser 11 does not crash the Nividia driver. Which version of Poser are you on pls?

My best guess is that there is a bug in the Nvidia driver which causes this - but it's only triggered by Poser 10 and Octane 3. Upgrading to Poser 11 is probably the best option, but stay with Nvidia driver 358.50 works too. However I will still work with Otoy to find the problem.

I have upgraded in the hopes that you can figure this out. Thank you for the plugin. I can't upgrade Poser right not.

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with:

3.0.20.73
- Compiled with Octane 3.0 (3.0.20)
- If you have ticked "Use offline licensing on this computer" when authenticating the plugin, you can now click the Deactive button on the OctaneLive tab to de-activate the plugin license
* NOTE: Poser10/PoserPro2014 using may need to roll back to Nvidia driver 358.50 to use this release. This issue is being investigated.

I just upgraded OR and the plug-in to V3 and everything worked seamlessly!
Thanks SO much for this free-of-hassle-experience.
You're doing an awesome job with this plug-in, thank you. It's much appreciated.

I have downloaded and installed the standalone 3.0 x64 and Poser plugin 3.0.20.73 x64, and Poser 11 Pro (11.0.5 x64) crashes right after I type my login into the plugin authentication dialog. The previous plugin was already authenticated, so I went into my OToy account and deactivated it. Poser 11 still crashes right after I enter my login credentials into the plugin login panel. For the record, I have deleted the previous plugin 2.5 folder and did a clean installation. I have tested the standalone Octane 3 and it works normally.

I couldn't see the new plugin interface yet because I can't pass the login authentication screen. It's not asking for my credentials anymore, for it probably stored the info first time I've typed it. But while displaying the "Authenticating Octane Credentials. Please Wait..." panel, Poser 11 crashes and closes. I have tried running Poser 11 with admin credentials, but it crashes all the same.

What can I do?

Just to make sure. Did you run the standalone octane first and enter your info there?
