Hi
Which one is better and easier to use? I am planning to buy one for fire and smoke. Not sure which one is the best

Thank you

i havent had much time with any of the two but fumefx seems better for smoke and fire.
phoenix on the other hand has the liquids so there is that.

phoenix can open vdb files but cannot export them. unless octane natively supports phx there is no way to render the sims other then scanline and vray.
does seem to me in chaos group best interest to have it stay that way.

short answer - fumefx.

It is a work-in-progress, but supporting Phoenix FD remains on our roadmap.
