hey there, I am experiencing an odd issue

I set up a scene and render an image. If I clos eOctane / DAZ then re open that scene and pose the next image open octane I am missing materials, a few turn to blank mats. Most of these are mats located in Poser Dirs that are in the content directory etc...

Is there a setting or reason DAZ / octy plugin would not remember where these are, its happening on two diff systems consistently.

I am running the latest 3.x build ATM

Is it issue 9 of the FAQ? https://docs.otoy.com/#60FAQ

What does the Log window say (at the bottom of the System tab)?

says it cant find that path the odd thing is that this is not the path im loading the texture from in the octane materials window? Is there a cache file I can delete / refresh its happening on both my systems looking for textures on C: Vs where \my DAZ stuff is on E:/

I do not think its that issue 9 on FAQ as i never get prompted to search for missing files, If I can manually add that path i will but im not sure how. Again the odd thing is i load theses texture snow every time i start a new render so not sure why i can use the material window to load and render then close the window then it forgets or cant find?

With-out providing a screenshot of the log, or details of the prop/figure causing the issue, it's pretty hard for me to assist you.

I had that recently... I was using tan lines for G3F. Replace active maps fixed it.

Tanlines creates images in the daz cache, and I know that some of them might go missing after a while. For stuff like this, I take the time to copy the modified mats to the original character folder (or sub folder).

An issue which led to texturemaps from Poser content being lost has been fixed in the next release.
