I'm sure I made a mistake somewhere but I cant find it every time I open the IPR in 15.0.459 I get this message "Can't open the log file "$HIP/Desktop/octane.log"
. Its the first time I have this error.

The log options are in the plugin options panel. You perhaps have the log enabled and the plugin can't write to this file path. Anyway the plugin should not crash, I will check it.
I suppose that if you disable the log to file option, or you set other file path, all should work fine.
