Particle system in Blender/Octane

Hello,

I have been trying to use particle system for grass and I am facing these problems:

1- When I use directly hair strands with shape root and tip thickness, I dont see any geometry in Octane preview at all (I can see it when I switch to cycles). Is there any settings which should be activated to be able to use hair particle in Octane?

2- When I use object for particle (a simple grass strand with 3-4 faces) and I switch to preview it gets stuck on Transfering process. It doesnt process no matter how long I wait, crushes if I try to exit preview mode.

What can be causing this problem with particles in Octane blender edition?

My system config:

i7 3930
gtx 980
16gb ram
blender v2.76
2 x GTX 980 Ti, 32 GB ram, i7 5820K

Yeah you don't want to use the hair system for grass, use your second method with objects. Make sure that you have the grass object mode set to scatter. If you don't the plugin will try and push the same number of objects to the GPU as you have particles. This can overwhelm your system and get really slow, once set to scatter, the plugin will instance the grass objects and it will be much faster.
