Just testing out the new plugin for v3 but i'm having issues with the IPR window.
If i choose "Custom OpenGL" window no IPR window opens at all.
I'm attaching my log below.
Thanks,
Paul
OSX 10.11.4
Plugin - 3.00.6.1
Octane API - 3.00 alpha 6
Houdini 15.0.393

Have been running into more problems with the plugin over the last few days. Was getting very intermittent success opening the IPR with Mplay
until i realised i was getting this error:
"ERROR: [driver] ------------ Error opening the tile device"
I noticed you had discussed this in another thread for an older beta and had suggested to check for lock files in the Houdini Home Folder but there don't appear to be any.
I trashed the whole home folder and restarted Houdini and it seems to be working again but it keeps happening - and i keep getting locked out of Mplay but no lock files are being generated.
Any idea why that might be happening? or how to fix without trashing the whole home folder?
In lieu of the Custom Open GL window working in OSX is there anyway to have information about the scene and rendering process displayed anywhere while working with the IPR. GPU usage, out of texture usage etc etc. There seem to be some stats overplayed in the MPlay window in the top right but they stay on screen for such a small amount of time it's impossible to read any of it. I see it's possible while rendering to disk, but not while working interactively.
Thanks,
Paul

Seems to be something related to the lock file problem ... anyway the next build that I want to release on Monday with have a fix for this problem, so you should not have this problem again.
Let me check if I can dump the render statistics in the MPlay IPR, or to the console as option.
Thanks,
-Juanjo
