Hi,

Just started using Octane, the rendering quality is awesomoe!!

Got a question for exporting materials as I use Max and C4D, and have been using the export script/plugin in both the applications. I have to reassign the material properties in Octane once again after the script takes your model to Octane interface. Is there any way I can save my materials and textures assigned in my native modeling application - Max and C4D so I do not have to reassign them in Octane?

Would appreicate any help in the matter.

The workflow is:
*Create a new scene (or use the overwrite checkbox)
*Click the render button
*Make your material settings
*Save your scene in Octane

After ervery time you hit the render button again, the Octane scene should be loaded, with your materials...

You can make simple settings in your application, so that you have specular, diffuse or glossy.
Maybe some texture maps, its all a exporter thing.
But the finetunig you make in Octane.
The feedback in Octane is much better to do that ;)
