I got an alembic file of a water simulation (meshed) in Houdini.
If I import the alembic in the octane standalone app I can see the motion blur.

If I import the alembic in Cinema4D and render with octane, there is no motion blur.

If I export an ORBX out of standalone (I checked filesize, its about the same size as the alembic file, 1GB) and try to import it in the Octane C4D bridge nothing happens. It just stays empty.

Anybody know what I can do?
Thanks in advance!

Tried with 2.25 and v3

we can't support yet motion blur for non-constant topology. There is not way as i wish to do by motion vector methods. Try old school subframe motion blur method.

hey Ahmet, thanks for helping.

The Motion Blur works in the octane standalone app. How come it cant work inside the C4D bridge? And why won't the ORBX import the file at all?

import ocs is old command from v1 days. Just for importing materials. There is incredible lot of todo to complete so i couldn't touch everythings. But i'm thinking to add a proxy type object. Which for importing orbx objects/scenes to c4d scene.
Your case is a good example for benefits of import orbx.

EDIT: It doesn't work on current way. Because we can't read motion vectors from C4D sdk. But standalone itself can do it.
