see attached. in the pull down for render settings, it just shows "default Render Settings" I have to export my settings from this tab and from the environment tab to create, but each new scene I have to re-import both to get it back. How do I save it and have it show up in the pull down?

If you create new presets but to not copy them to "My presets" they will only be saved with the current scene.morphious2013 wrote:see attached. in the pull down for render settings, it just shows "default Render Settings" I have to export my settings from this tab and from the environment tab to create, but each new scene I have to re-import both to get it back. If you want to have the presets available in all OctaneRender projects you need to copy your presets to "My presets":
- Click on "Copy"
in the appearing menu window
- give your preset an unique name
- place a checkmark in the box "Save to my presets"
-> Now your preset appears in the "my presets" area of the render settings pull down menu.

Note: All values in the preset will be greyed out.
This is to make sure that you do not accidentally change any values in the preset.
If you want to alter the preset use "Copy"
This time do NOT activate the checkmark "save into my presets" so you can still edit the values.
