I think there will be any person before May 15 is the release date of octane3!!!
I won't bet on this since so many promises.

I've moved on to Octane standalone, and Phantom Scatter. Octane for SketchUp isn't a play thing, we use it daily for professional architecture visualizations. Unfortunately this severe lack of support has us moving quickly to the standalone to save on headaches. Skatter and Octane are the perfect match, and you are failing to support it, out of ignorance despite multiple user suggestions is mind boggling. Skatter's creator even says that not one person responded to his attempts.

We have Captain exclusively working on SKP now to focus 100% on the following deliverables:
- 2.25 maintenance and fixes (ongoing)
- 3.00 release (ideally in beta next month)
And in the months to follow:
- Mac OSX plug-in
- 3.1 update (w/ integration of user requests post 3.00 release )
- OctaneEngine API support ( e.g zero GPU feature for MacPro/MacBook/iMac users)
We do not expect to have to pull in additional engineering resources to handle this roadmap on a timely schedule - but are prepared to do so if necessary.

Third time lucky? I really really hope so... I have said it before but the in-house plugin developers consistently under-perform compared to the 3rd party devs. There is just a different dynamic with the independent guys who perhaps do not earn a salary. But your ball, your garden.Goldorak wrote:We have Captain exclusively working on SKP now to focus 100% on the following deliverables:

Also, Captain was not the most responsive on the forum regarding feedback / bugs etc. I am talking about significant response delays and in some cases no response at all. I think that just added to the frustration. It would be great if you guys could improve that aspect.
Best,
