Do you know if OctaneRender Standalone 3.xx will ever support 3D Connexion (3D mouse) rotating, tilting and pivoting? Currently it supports panning, dollying, and heightening.
It is the same behaviour on 2.xx and 1.xx. I am not sure what step I miss?

..it was old discution in this forums..as device works different than on programs like 3ds max..however I think You have to get used to what it is..as I have a doubt devs are going to change navigation system inside OctaneRender Standalone (if You need that go for Plugin in host app You're comfortable with).

I realize I have not click "Notify me when a reply is posted".
I am using both Windows 7 and OS X El Capitan (10.11). Both operating systems perform the same function.
I also try 3.00 Alpha 3 - no new change. Is it 3DConnexion driver or OctaneRender Standalone's intentional behaviour?
I also notice Up-vector is not being updated on the fly while using 3D mouse. Maybe it is broken in many builds (from 1.xx to 3.xx) and not realized by the developers?
And yes, I can confirm that all 6 axises work well with the host apps (Blender, Daz Studio)... Just not the standalone.

3DConnexion works fine on all types of movements but sensitivity adjustment doesn't work. It is too sensitive in Octane by default and it doesn't respect any sensitivity adjustments.
Octane 3 alpha 4
EDIT: just saw there is global sensitivity adjustment in the Octane menu
