ORNATRIX Octane

Hi Guys,

I'm part of the Beta for Ornatrix for maya Hair system they have a great tool there and working with all render engines they told me they try to contact otoy with no success and seams to be a really simple to make work with Octane I guess they have some question on to send information to maya plug.

Please could you give something for then this will be great as support for hairs.

Hi I personally made similar chats with ephere regarding ornatrix for max.
And I'm a licensed user of ornatrix for years.

I had nearly the same response from them. This happened back in 2014
I, like yourself and reported this to Octane standalone and max plugin forums.
Result was not good... None

So, until something greatly changes in the Otoy's perspective towards external plugin support, you'll have to wait a long time for it.

right now its really difficult to put time into external plugin connections, sorry for that, since I am busy with the Maya plugin and redoing some structural things.

Is so many possibilities to make work... use instance for example....Is not possible at least to have a chat for 1h with this guys... really I think is more kind of question I can render as mesh but memory take become huge. and because I know they use instance object I pretty sure is a simple thing for then.
