I'm working with pathtracing and have a look that I'm pretty happy with, but the shadows are darker than I'd like:

Is there a way to adjust the opacity of the shadows in Octane?

Off the top of my head, I suppose that increasing the brightness of the environment would help, but I'm afraid that would flatten everything out too much.
Same if I created a white environment/sky and added light to the scene that way.

Can the shadow pass be rendered separately? I could at least get control over it that way...I haven't done much with separate passes in Octane yet.

Any help appreciated!
Thanks

I think worst thing that go to pass shits on a real-time renderer. Try other ways rather than this.
Lot of ways to do this. Hard to explain all in a row.

1-Try more diffuse depth
2-Play with daylight parameters
3-Add second sky environment and use mix environment.
4-Check imager and gamma things.
4-.......
