Hi,

just want to know if Modo Fur native system is supported in Octane For Modo?
Do I need to use model few strands and instance it on geometry? is that only way to render fur/hair in octane for modo?

thanks.

Details on rendering strands/curves from Modo is at https://docs.otoy.com/Modo/?page_id=977. You can also turn on the Preferences->Octane->Use Modo Render Cache and get a baked copy of the fur geometry, although there are some limitations with this - check https://docs.otoy.com/Modo/?page_id=1113 for details.

I could never get Modo to bake for to geometry without Modo crashing - so you are better off using one of the two approaches I mentioned above.
