How or where do I find the default kernel and camera settings?

Right clicking an entry has no reset to default.
No where is it listed in the manuals.

Loading a new blank file still loads the last used settings.

If I changed something I should not have, how do I get back to a fresh start?

If I had saved a default preset initially , I could restore it, but that was so long ago and before I became aware of presets, I have become lost.

It should load all the default settings if you just close cinema completely and reopen it, then open octane settings before loading any projects and they should be default.

That eventually worked.
My problem was that for some reason, a copy of Cinema C4D was still listed in processes and hence the default settings were not appearing until I ended the hung process.

Thanks for the reply.

You haven't need to do reinstall.
1- Just find prefs folder of C4D, locate "oct.dat" and rename or delete. All prefs will be resetted.
2- If nr1. still not help, find "new.c4d" or "default.c4d" and delete it. Restart C4D.
3- Latest try: If nr1 and nr2 didn't helped, find parent folder of prefs folder. Which holds all settings of C4D. Rename or delete it. Restart. C4D will be brand-new.
