Hi.

I have a problem. This is my workflow; All scene is animated in Maya, then export to octane standalone and make materials and render.

When I import the alembic file, in the octane i don´t see camera parameters (aperture, focal deph, etc) only four parameters (and disconnected); Orthographic, Aperture-edge, autofocus and distortion. I can´t modify aperture (I absolutely need this).
I tried export in generic alembic, and tried export in "octaneRender-alembic" (both options of maya 2015 with octane plugin).

Is frustrating to have no way to communicate both softwares smooth and clean way.

I have to do the standalone renderer because no render farms of gpu, and the only way to access cloud services is through gpubox and amazon. Now the problem is I can not move a scene (very simple and only meshes and camera with animation) from maya to standalone

Octane standalone 2.13
Maya 2015 with extension 1
Octane render for maya 2.11.1 - 5.6

This may not be you problem but have you turned on create camera inputs in the standalone?

Yes, and create only four nodes

- Aperture Edge
- Autofocus
- Orthographic
- distortion

Is I tuned off, not connections to camera

Whats the advantage of exporting from Maya and sending over to Octane Standalone? Why not create and render all inside Maya?

the advantage for me is 3-7 times the render speed in stand alone vs maya plugin. I am running into the same issue.
