Hi,

Why don't you use a plugin ? Is there no plugin available for your 3d app ? this will allow you to export any selected camera and keep all you cameras in your host app.
And what do you mean about saving rendersettings ? they are saved to the OCS project not?

Also, you can't just replace a linked OBJ file, it does'nt work like that. you export to a new OBJ file (don't overwrite the old one),
and click on the relink button on your mesh. (if you click on your meshnode, and scroll all the way down in the node inspector panel on the right, you will see a little arrow/disc icon,
click it and select your new OBJ file and it will relink keeping materials intact. it makes the links with the materials by material name, so they need to match.

Plugin: I work with Lightwave 9.6, as far as I know there is not a plugin for it (yet?).
Any news about a lightwave plugin?

Thanks for your info about replacing an obj file, that's very handy and it works!!

once the current plugins are all done we will put up a poll and see what people want next as plugins,
and i think lightwave will probably score high on it.
