Alright so after much savings and working here's my final build:
Processor : Intel Core i7-6700k
Motherboard : Asus Z170 Deluxe
GPU : 2x Asus GTX 980TI (will add another one more and water cool everything)
Ram : Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2133Mhz 8GB x 2
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
SSD : Kingston HyperX Fury SSD 120GB
PSU : CM 1200
Chasis : CM Master Case Pro 5
CPU Cooler : CM Nepton 240M Aio Cooler
I do a lot of 3D motion graphics, vfx, interior rendering and Unity3D game development. Hopefully 3 GTX980TI is enough for my 3D rendering.
Final build

Looks good. My only question is wether 16gb of Ram is enough.
Windows 8 Pro | i7 3770 OC | 32 GB Ram | Single Titan (plus Black Edition on Order) | Octane Lightwave |
The choice of motherboard is not good for 3 gpus, specially on air. I would go with asus x99 e ws and 5930k or older solution on asus ws mobos. The issue with the mobo you've chosen is that bottom slots are too close for air cooling. And with water for 3 gpus this also might be problematic - these slots are not equidistant.
If you're looking for some savings I'd suggest going with older chipset mobos. If you want to stick to air and 3 gpus it is really important to keep 3 slot distance between gpus giving them some extra air to breathe and keep them away from throttling due to high temps.
Any questions - shoot me

Example of a mobo pcie slots alignment for 3 gpus on air - use the 1st, 3rd (middle), 5th slots

Hi, thanks for taking your time to reply. My local hardware shop only have Asus motherboards, at first I was considering the Asus Extreme VIII Extreme edition but the price is bit high. I'll definitely wish to go for 4 water cooling GPU's in the future but for now 3 GPU is considered enough for what I'm doing. Will be doing air cooling on 3 cards for the time being. Any ideas to maximize the best performance I can get?smicha wrote:The choice of motherboard is not good for 3 gpus, specially on air.
