Dear Dev,
I also see that this feature has to be implemented to make max work with Forest Pack pro effectively.
The Forest color texture is already implemented in Standard, Mental Ray, and V-Ray and Corona renderers.
This is plugin similar to MultiTexture Map plugin. Where most professional Octane users use both plugins every day.
I would like to ask you to either implement above plugins/features specifically for max only.
Or
Create a new texture map for octane to let us randomly assign bunch of texture to many obj instances.
As this is related to the Core... I'll post this request on Standalone forum as well
