Hi
correct me if i am wrong but i think i read somewhere that octane render 3 will support particle rendering, or more specific point cloud rendering.
i have not been able to find any new info about this and i often check the new beta versions if there are anything new features.

could someone please clarify if this is true.

thank you :)

ps. i love the new version of octane render, having so much fun with vdb volumes

Would be good to know what level of particle support we'll see.

This has quickly moved to the top of my wishlist since all the other toys are implemented or heading into 3.0.
I know @aoktar has said that OpenSL and that framework should help to pass particle data to the the octane.

cheers

So..
now that it has been confirmed that the current build of octane render 3 adds sphere primitive for particle rendering, i was wondering if anyone knows how to use it ?
i read that it didn´t support alembic import, does this mean we have to wait until next build to be able to import particles ?
