Sorry if this has already been asked, couldn't find it if it has:
Is there a way to only render a multipass layer, and not have to render the main beauty flat pass? I've obviously run into a situation where I forgot something. My workaround is to heavily reduce samples and quality of beauty flat pass to get my object mask. It's be nice to know if there is a more straightforward way of doing this? Thanks.

Hi aggiechase37,
if you switch from your actual kernel to Infochannels, you should be able to use the multi pass option with the faster render possible, without modifying your original kernel settings
You can also use the overwrite kernel Settings Tab in Render Settings / Octane Render

That's probably the obvious solution that I just overlooked. Thanks my friend.
