as you can see from the attached images I found two different incorrect behaviours in Octane converted lights:
in one scene the light is spreaded in the opposit direction of where it should be (inverted.jpg);
in another scene the "visible" option of the light affects either the luminance power (visibilty_on.jpg and visibility_off.jpg)
All the two scene come from the same Library, could it be this? :?:

...made a speedy test on a scene from the library of another brand of 3d ware, no problem in light spread direction neither in visible/invisible option.
I'm quite definitely sure that is something "wrong" in the scenes from the other brand.
If eanyone else have had such a issue, please let me know ;)
Cheers, Paolo

Hi,

Thank you for bringing this lighting conversion issue to attention. I would be happy to analyze a test scene if you are able to provide one. Otherwise, I will collect as much information as I can and get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi,

On popular option is using https://www.wetransfer.com/. This allows for easy, secure uploading and downloading of files as large as 2 GB. You can use this free service if you like. You can also send me a download link using your Dropbox account (if applicable).
