Octane VR

I am a bit confused...

Is the VR plugin a stand alone application...or do i need Octane render in order to use it?...

hi there,
OctaneRender is the basis for all the Octane editions, it has a standalone edition and several plugin editions.
OctaneVR is but a snippet of OctaneRender but it also has VR standalone edition and some VR plugin editions.
