We have 4 machines.
2 have a C4D octane bridge, the others are pure octane standalone slaves.
The 2 slaves have the slave deamon activated. Actually all 4 have the deamon installed correctly and running.
Machine 1 with Bridge can find all slaves in the network rendering window inside cinema4d.
Machine 2 with bridge can't. The list is always empty.
However when we open the standalone client on Machine 2 it can find all slaves. But not in C4D.
What could be the problem here?
All have the same standalone client 2.25, all use the same C4D bridge.
Really frustrating. Tried everything but Machine 2 can't find the slaves. Ports are the same.
Any ideas?
One machine can't find any slaves in bridge

Hi DinoMuhic,
as far as I know, a slave can be connected only to one master at a time, so, if your two slaves are already connected to Master 1, there is no slave for Master 2
you can force a slave to connect to a specific IP, so you can have Master 1 with Slave 1 with one IP and Master 2 with Slave to on another IP.
Let me know if you need more help on this

Hi Dino,
assuming that you have installed Octane 2.25, if you change the IP address in this .bat file with yours master address it should work: then you can substitute the .bat file in the Startup folder with this one in order to automatically start the slave.
If you save this txt file in the Octane root, the slave will give you more infos in what is going on: ciao beppe
