When you load saved .duf scene files in some cases the images are missing from OcDS image nodes.
This error happens when
- images located in DAZ Studio resources, runtime or library locations are assigned to any OcDS Image nodes
Example library and resources locations:
D:\USERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My DAZ Connect Library\data\cloud\SKUNUMBER\runtime\textures\ARTISTNAME\PRODUCTNAME
C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4 Public Build\shaders\iray\resources
This error does not happen when
- images are located anywhere else on the hard disk outside of DAZ Studio directories

I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:
3.0.6.13
- Compiled with Octane 3 alpha 6 (3.0.6). Note the minimum Nvidia driver required is 353
- Octane 3 no longer supports GPU thottling, so the previous Priority system has been re-instated on the System tab
3.0.4.12
- Fixed issue where the installer was putting IES and HDR image maps into the incorrect folder
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Just test the 3.0.6.13 and on the system tab, the GPU selection is not taken into account (even when hit apply configuration).
Ex : I select all the 8 GPU, at render title, there is 8 GPU but only 3 temperature displayed. and OctaneGPU monitoring gadget show only 3 GPU full load. Edit : another request, on animation tab, jpg save does not work anymore. after rendering 10 frames, it ends with a warning. If possible you could fix it bus as you said, V3 does not support jpg so don't spend time on it.

I have the same issue as the previous post!

Can you tell which of the 3 GPU's are being used? Does GPU-Z show the same result? Was this working OK on the previous release?Just test the 3.0.6.13 and on the system tab, the GPU selection is not taken into account (even when hit apply configuration).

Can you show a screenshot of this pls Witpapier?I have the same issue as the previous post!

The V 3.0.4.11 works fine, during rendering, I can select or deselect GPU in realtime and see on "OctaneRender GPU mini Monitor" what happened (very cool this gadget).
On the V3.0.6.13, It start with GPU I select with the previous version, and I can select other GPU, but there seems no effect on the rendering time/speed. I can even uncheck all and apply configuration, and the rendering goes fine with initial GPU "selected" (check on GPU monitor).
The workaround is to start an athother DazStudio with previous version of OcDs, and check GPU I want, and restart the new one...
Edit : just go back to V2 to rendering animation as V3 make some freeze using PCIe 1X, and found something interesting, V3 seems to take more VRAM than V2 (with settings default 8 parrallel and 8 tiles in V3). Ex for one of my scene up to 2.5GB (using resize texture to fit my 780Tis), in V3 I have only 230MB free. Back to V2 and I have up to 800MB free with the same scene.

Can you pls export to ORBX and import that file into Octane Standalone and see if Octane Standalone will render with more than 3 GPU's?The V 3.0.4.11 works fine, during rendering, I can select or deselect GPU in realtime and see on "OctaneRender GPU mini Monitor" what happened (very cool this gadget).

Also, yes, Octane 3 uses more VRAM when Parallel Samples is > 1.

Hi Paul,
No problem when exporting to StandAlone 3 alpha 6.
Here my step :
- On V2 : check only 3 GPU
- On V3.0.6.13 : see that 3 GPU are selected. Check 2 more GPU, apply and test render : Only 3 initial GPU works (monitor on GPU monitor)
- Export to StandAlone : I can select all the 8 GPU and all work fine.

I have uploaded a build which provides some debug info. Pls install it, then load and start rendering your scene, then on the System Tab->GPU Configuration click the Apply Configuration (confirm that only 3 GPU's are rendering). Then exit DAZStudio and post the C:\Users\USERNAME\OctaneRender\debug.log file here.No problem when exporting to StandAlone 3 alpha 6.
