Some feedback from Mac uses of OS X 10.10 or 10.11

Can anyone currently running Octane on Yosemite or El Captain tell me if they think it is worth upgrading from Mavericks? I'm on a Hackintosh and my 10.8 install is no longer booting. So I'm wondering, as I try to fix it, if its worthwhile to take this opportunity to just update the entire OS to one of the newer versions? Until this morning I had a nicely behaved system and stayed away from the newer Mac OS's after hearing about some of the caps on the number of GPU's that would work with them.

Right now I only have two GPUs in my system but I am currently refitting things to get my third GPU in there. My understanding is that issues only come into play with 4 cards?

I'm currently running on El Capitan and I'm happy with the new version, but I have only one card right now so is better to wait the answer from other users

Thanks for the link bepeg4d. Seems issue in that case is with external GPU's so maybe I don't have to worry. Anyway, got my system back on line and bootable so I have more time to research this.
