I have been reading some really scary posts dated a year ago about FrozenPC being in disarray and not fulfilling orders. Their web site is still up accepting orders (via phone currently). Does anyone know if that situation has been resolved and they are back to being reliable? Really I just need to order some thermal heating pads so I guess its not too much of a risk. But I need them quick and that company is here in NY, which makes ordering from them attractive.

I called them and it was a barely audible phone recording - went with Performance-pcs.com instead, they had the same item.

I tired using them about 8 months ago and even though I was able to get my order, they are not the same company as they once were.

I had to call several times to place the order due to representatives not fully completing the order, not running my card, or not knowing their own product. I specifically was wanting to add two 980ti's into a preexisting loop and after researching, I knew the TitanX block from EK would work yet after being transferred around to multiple "product specialists" they didn't even know what I was asking for and kept pushing me to purchase the regular 980 waterblock. Good thing I didn't because the TitanX block was exactly what I needed. I decided to directly purchase the block from EK yet still purchased various items (fittings, tubing, bridges, ext) from FrozenPC which was delivered no problem.

Another annoyance of FrozenPC is their shipping method requires a signature from UPS. I know this protects both parties and ensures delivery yet is a HUGE hassle when UPS delivers during the day while you are at work. Several times I've had to wait at the UPS distribution center to pick up the package from the delivery truck after its route at the end of the day.

Supposedly the company closed doors after the discovery of widespread embezzlement and was later either restarted with limited staff or was purchased and resurrected from a third party. Either way, I think they have lost my business. It's a shame, they used to be a one stop shop for everything I needed.
