Hi there,

I'm using out-of-core memory as my scene is a little bit too big for my GPU. This is working fine when I use the Live Viewer, and it kindly tells me how much out-of-core memory I'm using. However, when I try to render this to the Picture Viewer, it exports the scene then fails with 'Render Failure' message.

Do I have to enable out-of-core somewhere else when rendering to the Picture Viewer? Or is my problem likely something different?

My scene is probably a bit big for uploading here unfortunately.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Rory.

Scene can have different triangle count in viewport and render output. Live viewer uses viewport data. So check your objects different subdivisions/etc.. for render out.

Hi Ahmet,

Yes that was it! Changed my renderer subdivisions and it worked.

Cheers!

How do you do out of core rendering?! I'd love to know.
