How do you get Autofocus to work?
I can't get anything in focus unless it's dead center. And it'll defocus if I dolly just a bit away - even if the subject is still centered. It's like a DSLR with one single focus point, and an extremely narrow one at that.
Are there any settings that I should change?
Is there any way to make Autofocus work?

Yeah, autofocus only works if there is an object directly in front of the camera. If your object doesn't always sit in front of the camera then you need to manually set the focus distance in the camera settings.
