Hi!

I have noticed this problem with earlier versions so it is not new in 2.25 but it is still there so now I need to ask if there is something wrong with my setup or is this a bug :)

When I open IPR, the window aspect is the default, not related to camera aspect. By the manual I understand that IPR window should reset the aspect to match the current Camera if I activate Fix Asp and press Reset. But no matter what I do, nothing happens with neither Reset nor Fix Asp (Fix Asp button toggles but it has no effect on anything) :o

When I later load the scene again, the IPR aspect may have changed to match the current Camera but then again if I change Camera aspect, those buttons in IPR do nothing :o

Is this bug or have I misunderstood something or is my LW/Octane setup messed somehow? :)

Thank you!

Yes, this is a known behavior. The IPR gets the camera aspect the first time it is launched in the scene, and then fix the size even if you change the camera resolution because it should remember the window size if you close it and open it again.

Let me think about a fix for the Octane 3 plugin. Meanwhile a workaround if you don't want to reload the scene after change the camera resolution is go to plugin option panel and change the IPR window open size to camera resolution, using the IPR resolution multiplier to get a small window if you are working with high resolution images.

Yes this trick works, though it needs open/close IPR twice to get the changed aspect but the most important thing is that now I can frame the scene easily and accurately with IPR :)
