Hi,
I'm testing the demo of Octane in C4D.
Everything works fine. At the moment I'm testing a scene of an Iphone, like this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy9AkLTLmOQ)
But when I, as example, rotating the scene, it takes longer than I expected in the Live Viewer. See screenshot

I'm worried if my settings in the renderer & Octane settings are wrong. Do I have to change the Render Priority?
Does anyone have any remarks about this?
Thanks in advance,
Tim
Render settings?
Hi Tim,
render priority must be active for all the GPUs with a monitor attached, if you have only the GTX 980 ti on your system, then the render priority must be active.
I have tried to find the iPhone file of the video, but without success
If you can share the link I can have a look to the scene and share back with you

Hi Beppe,
Thanks for the reply. So, what's the right render priority? Is it LOW or HIGH?
You can find the Iphone 5 model on this page: http://silverwing-vfx.de/free_stuff.html
thanks, Tim

The priority should be set at Low while you are editing the scene and High when you are only rendering
Wow, a model from Raphael, great
There were some missing textures and a Vray node, could you try with the attached modified version, please?
It's super fast here in both, real time navigation and rendering
