I have problems with no materials showing up in Render Viewport. I am not in claycolor or clayrendering mode. Tried using the materiapicker and load new image file but still nothing showing.
Also have problems rotating model as it tends to tilt instead of rotating Z axis.
Any tips how to fix this?

Working on Win 7, 64bit ,Quadro FX 3800M 1GB graphics, i7 920 Extreme (Dell Precision M6500)

depending from wich application you export you may need to check flip yz axis to have the model correct alignet in octane.
check the scripts section of forum and download yours. for materials to apear you allso may need to have your program native materials asigned to meshes because often vray materials don't export well.

Hi,

What 3d host app are you using to export from ?
If you have any options for your OBJ export, please take a screenshot of those options and post it here and i'll tell you how to configure it.

I use Microstation and SketchUp. Both gives same results.
Here is a screenshot from the SU exporter settings:

yeah, try the sketchup plugin for octane in our sketchup forum.
it works like a charm. just hit the button and you have the identical view, model and materials converted to octane. works great, even with the free sketchup.
