Hello all, I dont know if this is an octane particular question. But since Im using octane, I might as well ask here as there could be something Im doing wrong with my octane nodes also.
See below a sample blend file of a brick texture I used gimps insanebump plugin to generate the image maps. But one problem Im always having is patterns in the texture when spread accross multiple tiles. It really looks like an old bad video game. lol.
Anyways I really need help achieving realistic results for my project. Like it needs to look REAL. And im constantly not able to achieve this. Im gonna provide 2 scenes here and they are just for test, but I wana see what Im doing wrong with the textures and also other things that anyone can notice before I even spend more time on my own trying to learn I might as well ask maybe save me some time.
Thanks a lot.

hi,
unfortunately I'm not a blender user, but if you could share an .ocs or .orbx file, I can surely have a look to your materials.
First of all, in general, your texture are not tileable, search in google "tileable texture tutorial", you can surely find one that is good for you
ciao beppe
