IN FACT...I think many people would support Gabriele's words! If v3 can't support older version of 1.9 materials, I can't waste any second to convert those huge models....again

Hi,

The release of 3ds Max plugin will be based on when the v3 standalone can move into release. Plugin releases will follow on promptly from this period. Keep an eye out for announcements early this coming April. The release of the 3ds Max plugin will coincide closely with the release of the v3 standalone, since this plugin is developed in-house. Unlike the third- party developers, in-house plugin devs are also directly involved in core Octane development - thus, all in-house developed plugins will align closely with the standalone (MAX being one of them).

The upcoming announcements this April will shed a lot more light on the release of the v3 standalone and, by extension, the 3ds Max plugin.
