Hi,

I could use some TurbulenceFD / Octane help.
I am trying to use the _TurbulenceFD-scenes that Aoktar posted, but with no luck.
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=51856
Specicifically: "tp_flame thrower"

Nothing happens, nothing in the live viewer, nothing renders.
I have ran the Turbulence FD simulation and tried different Kernel modes, but still nothing.

I have the latest demo of Turbulence FD and Cuda 8.0, and Octane 3.1.

Does the Turbulence FD demo not work with Octane v03 (Alpha 3.1)??
I am using R16, Windows 8
I just assumed the TurbulenceFD C4D files that Aoktar uploaded were already all set up and ready to go, do I have to do something else to make them work?

Thank You

Thanks for the reply, I tried turning on/off the 3rd party, it doesn't seem to work.

I'm thinking it probably has something to do with my TurbFD being the demo version.
As w the Demo there is a big 'ol JawSet watermark on any render from standard and physical render and it probably isn't programmed to do the same w an Octane render... I guess.

Anybody out there using the Turbulence FD demo successfully with Octane3.0+??

I think so. We use direct access to TFD api. So that's very meaningful to be disabled on demo versions.

I have just installed V3 and have been excited to see Octane supports Turbulence FD. I to have not been able to get anything to render. All just Black. Must be something I am doing wrong. I've installed the latest Turbulence FD and just installed the Octane beta 3. I'm sure it's something simple or stupid I'm not doing. Thanks!

Please check uploaded scenes. It's a bit tricky atm. You should have density in simulations.

Hello,
I'm in the same situation. Octane alpha 3.1 C4d R16 (windows 7)
I downloaded the project file that aoktar posted that contained the flamethrower demo (thank you, by the way). I have not been able to see the simulated render. I keep getting invisible results. Am I missing a reference file to add to make this work? I cached my simulation 1st... I didn't touch any settings, then I just hit the send scene button in my Octane view-port. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

It should work as i posted if you make re-simulated and on non-demo version of TFD(latest updates).

We got a licensed copy of TFD, and it works perfect with the alpha. Great work Aoktar! :)
