Hi, as the tile suggests, I'm trying to bake my UV set 1 over UV set 2, but to do that, I need to export my mesh with multiple UV sets.
Problem is, apparently Maya Alembic exporter only seems to export only one UV set.
Does anyone knows how to do it?

Can Cinema 4D export multi UV .abc files? (I never used it)
If so, I will install the trial version and hope it will let me import an FBX and export it to ABC with both UV sets.

If that fails, what software is the best for handling multi UVs Alembic?
If Octane supports this feature there must be a way to export it, so what did the Devs use?

Hi Rikk,
unfortunately, as far as I know, C4D does not support more than 1 UV set per geometry :(
Anyway, I have found this video about Exocortex alembic plugin that explain how export more than 1 UV set:

Thanks Beppe, I managed to install the Crate Alembic plugin for 3DS Max and I successfully exported the abc with multi UVS! 8-)
However, there is another problem now, this time regards Octane Baking System... Unfortunately, I just found out that Octane doesn't take in account the OPACITY when it comes to baking. :|

I'll open a separate thread to discuss it.

Hi guys,

As you were asking, here for development we've been using Crate to export multi UV Alembic from 3DS Max.

It's a bit cumbersome to setup but it gets the job done ;)

Cheers.

I installed in a breeze in 3DSMax, but I can't get it to work in Maya. The installation instructions are completely retarded, if someone knows how to properly install it in Maya, please send me a PM.
