Hello, I just ordered a new computer with 3 x GTX TitanX cards which should be here next week... and I'm looking for a GPU render engine to use with Maya and perhaps Modo.
In the meantime, I'd like to download the demo version of Octane but did not find my current graphics card, the Quadro 4000, on the list of approved cards.
According to NVidia's website, the Quadro 4000 does have 256 CUDA cores.
Will Octane run on that card?

I'm also currently running Maya 2013, whcih will be updated once the new computer arrives.

Thank you for any help.

Hi Johnny

Yes, Octane should work with your Quadro 4000, but your new rig will be many times faster.

I run the Maya plugin (which is fantastic, but there are a few issues and the support isn't great - although we have been promised more resource on this) on a 6 Titan Black setup which runs very well.

Cheers

Hi johnnyh66, make sure you have the latest driver for your GPU.

Cheers, mib
