Is it possible to see the motion blur in the IPR viewport or at least when I do a single render ?
I can see the motion blur only when rendering a batch. When I want to render a single image with motion blur I have to use the batch render, with the multiple images option.
motion blur in the IPR possible ?

So I will answer it myself to help other Maya users who might get stuck while putting their hands on the Octane4Maya Plugin.
Motion blur will be seen in the viewport if you switch to internal motion blur and use movable proxies. You have to set the geometry type to movable proxies in the shape node. Also the attribute spreadsheet is able to change multipe objects at once.
Note: Sometimes Maya will tell you to add more frames for the motion blur (in the render log). If you extent the timeline and it still does not work then reopen the same scene. There is a bug in Maya with the motion blur.

Hey Refracty,
I was able to turn it on in IPR but then I had other problems with my wheel animations (expression)
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=49645
I finally rendered it out using the subrame method but still - would be nice to know ehat could lead to this strange effect.
Thanks!
D.
