Trying to install Octane Demo plugin for cinema 4d R16 on a win 10, so I downloaded, ran the installer, fired up Cinema. Nothing. So I went and checked the plugins folder and there was nothing there, realized that Octane installed to a random folder "program filesx86/Cinema 4D" which I thought was pretty super weird. So I manually dragged all the plugin files over the Cinema/plugins folder myself, fired up C4D... and again nothing. When I say nothing I mean I don't even get the "Octane" menu up top.
on the other hands the demo of octane render stand alone work like a charm (so not a problem of the graphic card).
I would like to try the c4d version before buying the product.
would be more than welcome for a little help please.
cinema 4d R16 plugin not appearing .. help
