View port re size starts re rednering?

I am sure this is simple but..... I upgraded to 3.0 stand alone and plug in, im going nuts with the view port re sizing causing (zoom in zoom out minimize etc...) the render to re start, where do i stop this? Why would default be set like this?

Sounds like you have the "Switch Render Size To" button (on the Viewport toolbar) enabled.
