Under what circumstances does the window not refresh? I haven't been able to duplicate your problem.

i have two skethup scenes opened, when i try to render in one of the scene , i get a blank viewport , and sometimes , when i hit the material button in one scene , it shows the materials from the other scene , in other cases i get a blank material window
when i have just one sketchup scene opened everything works fine , except for the camera depth of field feature but this is a long standing issue

When you get a blank viewport try to hit O and orbit a scene - does it help?

i have tryed to orbit the scene , to reopn de render window , etc. it does not work unless i close both sketchup files and than open just one of the two
