I have been using Octane for a few months now, and have had some success with the various skin shaders, in particular the ones by Tonysculptor (to whom I am very grateful). However I have seen that some people have struggled with using these shaders, so thought I would have a go at one myself. Built this up from scratch with some reference to colours used in Tony's shaders.

If you use Daz models, just replace the images with appropriate ones (diffuse, specular, bump, normal and sss) etc.

The below image was my first render with it - though I did some minor colour post work in photoshop.

This is my first go at a shader so would really appreciate some feedback.

Is looking nice but hard to say about SSS the chromatic Ab is to strong aswell as the vignette and the extra blue tint, also a bit over exposure maybe is a choice to go high key style?
do you have a image without post to see the SSS please?

I have attached the straight render from Octane to give you some idea. When I have time I will render another example that has less exposure and is a little cleaner.

This one is a straight render with the response set to linear, just brought down the saturation to about 0.7.
