GPU doesnt unload ram

Hi, after i play around with a scene for example, i doublicate my geometry and then delete it, the gpu ram doesnt go down.
I m attaching 2 screenshots of the same scene with the only difference that i just re opened 3ds max. Also my card ram seems less for some reason...

You can also disable one device and click the checkbox again so the vram gets released.
But I noticed there is no problem with the full vram. My scenes still rendered fine. Even if I loaded another scene. No idea why but it didn't crash because of full vram.

I tried that many times and the first card cant seem to unload the memory :( i thought of physically removing the 2nd gpu and test but i hope i get an answer before that if possible. thanks
