you could adjust the aperture to 0, turn on autofocus, maybe your object in octanes scene is really small. So pan around and rotate a bit.
also it could help to turn on wireframe mode to see where the object might be
I panned around the scene, I couldn't find the mesh. If my Octane Tree shows no problems, these issues can be frustrating. :?

See what abreukers finds, maybe it's simple, maybe it's complex or maybe it's something in-between :)

A slow start, but I was able to get this rendered using Octane. It reminds me of the days using FPrime for Lightwave. :) The speed is excellent.

and keep in mind the right scene scale.
When you import an object it could be in wrong scen scale. This will lead to facetting problems and wrong depth of field intensity. You can change this in the obj properties.

How do you know what is right, or wrong scene scale for an object ?

Doesn't Octane have conversion nodes ?

I want to convert a fall off map to the noise, in a noise texture for example ?
