I'm actually trying to do a work around for this now. I have a pretty solid reliable way of getting the UV maps from SU, by simply opening an exported SU obj and resizing the meah in Blender. Basically create the image maps, and bring them back into Quixel. Paint your parts and head to Octane Standalone. Just wont be able to go back into su octane.
Its a really powerful tool set, and I recommend anyone on this forum that wants to expand their 3d knowledge to try their hand with Quixel.

Hey there, yes, I'm working on a little tutorial / follow along video. Suggest purchasing https://cgcookiemarkets.com/all-products/baketool/ for blender it makes all the baking part a snap. I'll try to have it up in a day or 2.

Exporting Cycles render bakes use your CUDA cores as well. The bake system I suggested isn't a necessity, but it speeds up the process.
Just throw this one over to you Interfaces; http://quixel.se/hub/tutorial/suite-2-to-octane/ Once you get to this point.. this is how to apply your materials. I won't cover this part in the clip cause It may get a bit long. The template material is in the misc folder, I couldn't find it at first.

It took a bit longer than I thought - here is a clip of all the steps from SketchUp to Octane with Quixel in-between!

I'll have another video of a more complex scene with an ID map with multiple zones defined, and how they can work within your models. I'm going to film it during the morning tomorrow. Have it up as soon as I can.
